![]() My First Network Design Task Networking. This is due to me giving the user full mailbox rights to the new mailboxes via EMC resulting in the auto mapping feature being turn on (true) by default hence the magical appearance of these mailboxes without any user/admin intervention.Īuto mapping can be turned off when applying full mailbox rights but via the EMS Turns out the new mailboxes I created are the mailboxes showing within users Outlook without me or them adding it in. Stupid stupid stupid mistake on my behalf here!!! Please note that I have not added the new mailboxes as additional within users Outlook profiles but I have added the calendars (this is my only and primary use for the new mailboxes). The question now is how do I delete these dormant mailboxes from within users Outlook profiles now that I have created new mailboxes with the same name? I think the mailboxes may have been created before (exactly the same name as new mailboxes I have now created) I started working here, added to user Outlook accounts and then the mailbox was delete server side and never removed from users Outlook profiles causing them to remain 'open' but not listed under additional mailboxes. OK so I think I have figured this out but still unable to remove the mailboxes. ![]()
